I have had very bad luck with Bosch Platinum plugs. Not only do they not save you any gas, which no plug will do over another, unless one is severely worn, but the platinum plugs seem to have a bad habit of fouling. The regular Bosch plugs do not have the same difficulties. This, of course, is not scientific as it involves only a few different types of cars and a handful of heat ranges, but it seems indicative of a problem. The platinum plugs were designed to last an unusually long time, rather than save you gas.

Bosch platinums are a horrible product. I would not recommend this plug be placed in any gasoline powered engine. Too many times I have had customers come into the shop with an engine miss after they have replaced plugs, the first thing I do is remove the new Bosch platinums they installed and throw them in the trash, then put in the factory plug to solve the problem. Your engine was designed with a Champion plug screwed into the head, that is what I would replace it with.

Get those out of that motor ! That truck demands a resistor plug and the boshs aint. Your ignition equipment changed into no longer designed for that plug. it is going to artwork, notwithstanding it cant get warm sufficient to do what its meant layout changed into. Get known OEM plugs like Denso or champion. hollow at .0.5 and your mileage will bypass again up. notwithstanding the way in case you go away the bosh plugs in they faster or later will foul out. unwell under no circumstances purchase yet another bosh plug besides the actuality that in the adventure that they stated they were free. Bosh plugs = junk !

I recommend that use the kind is sold by dealer or recommended by the manufacturer. With electronic ignition the circuit is calibrated for the ignition plug. If you use a different plug the engine might not run well.
