Take it to a Dodge dealer and have them Diagnose it. It could be low freon, it could be a bad blend door actuator, it could be a weak compressor. It could be many things...

Have the experts diagnose it and then you will know what it needs for sure.

May just need to be recharged, but it being a 2000, it could need a new Evap, or compressor. We'd first recharge it and also put a dye in it to check for any leaks it may have. If the recharge lasts, then it just needed frion, if it only last a month or two, we'll check to find the leaks. Depending on if and where we see leaks, then we;ll know where to go from there.
Recharge with Dye is about $170, but if it needs evap and or compressor, you're looking at around $1500 bucks! Gah! I hope for your sake it just needs frion.

get a recharge kit is not that expensive it goes 40 dollars or more maybe cheaper in some place like local autozone or kragen. the instructions are very simple.
if that does not work you might have a leak in your air conditioner.

you must have a freon leak in your system, either a hole in the radiator or seal on compressor or something. Take it to a certified mechanic!

You could be low on coolant or your compressor could be bad or have a leak. You should see an AC technician.
