need to know where the fill hole is on a 5-speed manual transmission on a 1992 GMC Jimmy S15 with a 4.3 litre?

probably have to use the dipstick hole.

There should be a plug on the side of the case about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom. They can usually be removed with a 3/8 drive ratchet. On the older 4 speed s10 it was located on the drivers side, just park the truck level & fill it until it starts to dribble out of the fill hole.

driver side just above linkage pipe threaded fill nut .fill till runs out hole then replace nut

it probably just a plug screwed into the side of the trans.
