Okay- My ex told me to unplug my car battery to install new spark plug wires. Well, now my car sterio is asking for a code. My car does not have ANY records of the code (having me buy it used from a dealer that's now bankrupt!!.) How do I take out the sterio(Car manuel not enough detailed) and or where could I find a way to get the darn code? --> 2000 Honda Civic DX

I have a 1987 Pontiac Trans Am with Firestone Tires on it and it is going to be sitting for at least a year i was wondering if there are any special steps that i could take to prevent the tires from dry rotting because they are near brand new tires. I have the car sitting in a garage and i start it and take it out of the garage and down the driveway and back up to keep the brakes from locking up .

Hey i was told today by this person that the Gas Company's are taking Hybrid Cars and Crushing them when people bring there cars in for maitinance and i told this person they cant do that! and she said yes they can she says she saw articles on it! I still think its bogus is it? is it true ??

Aparently the Gas companys are crushing them because there losing business i said they cant do that! Aparently there doing this without the owner of the Cars permision! i Think this is A load of Crap i just wanna make sure?

When I start my 97 Pathfinder, it turns over really really quickly and the RPM drops right away to about 500-1000. It sounds like a low rumble, not a normal idling sound.... Then after a second it builds back up to about 2000 and sounds normal. What could cause this?

02 Dodge Durango SLT-V8 5.9L , So it gave me the engine light took it to the shop, plug in the Comp. to it, Code read---PO171, look it up ask arround, dought everyone is given different opinions about what it could be?

P.S. Had the Pistons already cleaned out, oil change filters,Motor is clean, checked all hoses and connections could find the problem........Still no luck, I have no idea what to do now, ready to junk this car!!

I try to take care of my vehicle. I always rotate the air in the tires when I am supposed to. I always put a new sticker on the windshield when it is time to change the oil sticker. And, I always add fresh air to the air filter.

i have a 84 chevy and i have purchased blue dots for the brake lights that are inserted into the lens by drilling a hole and inserting them in that hole,thing is i dont want to do all this work,putting on the blue dots and get pulled over cause theyre not legal...i heard that they were not legal in texas???

I'm not sure, but it may be the fuel pump fuse. I had a radio installed 2 months ago and am wondering if that could have done something to the electrical system. Just grasping at straws at this point. Anybody have any suggestions?
