The Saleen comes in different stages. Some are supercharged others are nothing more than a GT with a few minor changes. The Cobra is not Saleen but SVT. They had a supercharged 4.6 engine in the later years.

The Saleen Mustangs comes in (I believe) four stages now. The first few have nothing to do with performance, they are all cosmetic... (i.e. body kits, interior) They also tweak the suspension for better handeling but, this does no good without more power. The Cobra (like some of the other two said) has a supercharged engine that is hand-built by two people that stamp they signatures onto a plate on the head of the motor. It is an SVT (special vehicle team) car, different than the Roush and Saleen Mustangs. Generally they are better bang for the buck than the Saleen and hold their re-sale just as well. Although Saleen and Roush's are made in more limited numbers, the SVT's can keep up in performance until Stage 4.
