Insurance & Registration - May 2007

I was thinking of getting a bike off ebay,but it has no title just a bill of sale.I checked with my local D M V. They said that I should be able to tag and title here in Missouri.That is if the state that I bought it from didn't title their motorcycles.But they couldn't tell me what states did or didn't.

My car was parked out back and someone I work with hit it with one of our work trucks. There is a sizable amount of damage to my car and clear marks on the truck proving that my car was hit by it. No one I work with will admit to hitting it. My bosses boss says they can't put it on the companies insurance because they don't know who did it. He also did not want to look at the in store DVR to see who took the keys to that truck that day. Should I push to get them to put it on their insurance? How can I force them to do that?

i was just wondering for the state of New York and New Jersey cos im there alot this guy i seen was in a hit and run but he had no insurance so he asked me to push his p.o.s. to the side so cops dont get involved.....nyc wut do u xpect but enyways i was pissed cos he bounced without even givin me any cash....shouldve left his broke as.s.s chillin there lol

Okay guys, July 2006 I was at a traffic light and got rear-ended, nothing was wrong at the time and I was late for school so I just said it was fine and we left. That weekend my back hurt so bad and I never had back problems before. There is a camera where the accident happened. I e-mailed a lawyer and told him about my situation. Do you guys think I am out of luck because I didn't get his info at the accident or do you think a lawyer will be able to pull the tape and sue him for my back injury? Thanks.

i didn't realize it, but my driver's license has been expired for a year and now i don't know if it is too late to get it renewed. if i go to the dmv will they make me pay a fine? or will i have to take my driver's test and/or permit test again? what do i do?

Hi-

I was involved in a car accident yesterday. A woman ran a red light and hit two cars, mine and another. I was in the passenger seat and her car hit me directly. Everyone involved except the driver of my car was taken by ambulance to the emergency room. I was lucky and ended up with only 12 stitches in my head and a lot of bruises.

She was arrested and is completely at fault-- we were not cited at all, nor was the other car who was hit by her.

I got the police report today and also filed the claim with her insurance company. I have not called my insurance company or anything yet.

I'm just wondering what to expect in terms of money, rental car, bills, etc. Should I hire a lawyer immediately? I do have health insurance, but will I get money for the hospital bills?

My car was 1998 VW Cabrio in excellent condition with very low miles (52,000).

Has anyone been throught this and have some sound adivce? My family and I are wondering the best way to proceed

Ok I was on my way to Memphis in May when I got pulled over for doing 18 over in a 70. I wasent doing it, it was the car infront of me...I really need to know how much it is gonna be. I was struck by another vehicle and I was in shock, all I did was call the cops, they collected our insurance policy information but I forgot to get the other driver's insurance information.

Will this somehow prevent me from getting the insurance company to pay for my car repairs or can the Insurance company simply get this information from the cops who took our info?

I am picking up a car with no road tax. I'm buying it today privately and it is quite a distance from where i live. It has no road tax. i can only get an insurance cover note which is a verbal agreement by phone. I can't get the tax without the insurance details on paper so what do i do cause i've got to get it home? UK some one any idea?

The finding was by the insurance board of appeals.However, my own insurance company refuses to return my $500 deductible, claiming that they are only obligated to reverse the surchargable points that were leveled against me when they originally completed their investigationl. I live in Massachusetts. Can anyone cite me a statute or regulation that I can send to my insurance agency to get my deductible back?
