Notify the people who hold your loan, and let them worry about it.
This is not uncommon, and it depends on who you have your loan with.
If you have it with Wachovia, for example, they are everywhere and it probably wouln't mean any diference. If you deal with the corner bank in little village, they might sell the note to a bank near where your are moving to.
Be sure to ask the about registration. They might know the easiest way to handle this.

You notify the lender of your move, some states require the actual title(Oregon is one)so, the lender needs notification to send the title out. Provide proof of insurance, and an inspection will be required, since you are bringing a car across state lines. Emission testing is required in urban areas.
