I am claiming thru my insurance co the total loss of my vehicle because the at fault driver has only limited coverage for property damage.my claim exceeds that.My insurance has offered me below acv of my car.My question is : In arizona is there a way to dispute the value of your car thru arbitration or mediation? If insurance co refuses to do that is that considered "in bad faith"?How long should one wait for the insurance co to respond after you have notified them that their offer is unacceptable?

I was in a car accident where the other party was at fault. I am 7 months pregnant. I have been to doctor and as far as we know everything is okay. The accident was minor. Other party's ins. is trying to settle, wanted to pay for the extra MD visit after accident and the representative said she would see about getting me a "little extra money for the injury claim". Her exact words. This was just mentioned today. The accident was two weeks ago. They had to total my vehicle and they would like to get it wrapped up. Should I settle before the baby is born to make sure everything is okay? I am getting advice not to but I don't want to seem like I'm trying to get alot of from them.

I'm just wondering how this works. I have a house in another state. Can I put my car under that other state's insurance? I want to do this because it is cheaper. Can the car stay with me at the state I'm currently living in?

How do people do this? Register there car in one state while living and driving it in another? Thanks

I was hired at a company but instructed that I could not drive the company cars nor my own car during work hours because I have had my license suspended in the past due to parking tickets (alot of them, a long time ago) My license is fine now. I have never had anything more than parking tix on my record. I want to apply for another job within the company but it would require driving. I am willing to drive my own car...for insurance purposes is there a waiver or something I can sign which would let me drive my own car on the job which would relieve them of any liablility should an accident occur?

My vehicle is a 1994 Ford Transit LBW 190 diesel, colour red, three seats. I paid £1000 for it including repairs, but I don't want to pay another £1000 each year for insurance. I got my EU driving license 3 years and a half ago. I think I'm missing something... someone in similar circumstances? thanks!

About three weeks a go my wife was hit from behind by another driver. I went the next day to a repair garage to get an initial assessment - it came to £660. The insurance company sent a engineer around and his assessment was £1330 and had deemed the car not-economical to repair. Their value on the car was £600. A bit low in my opinion.

How can I keep the car. Is it possible for the insurance to pay me the £600, let me keep the car and I will pay the difference to have the car repaired. The car is drivable - I am driving it everyday. What tactic should I use, or do I simple ask to keep the car?

I insure my car with Admiral insurance in the UK. Recently I was involved in a very minor accident, for which I do not intend to claim. It is not clear whether the other party will claim from their insurance or not. If I report the accident to my insurer, even if neither side actually puts in a claim pertaining to the accident, will this be considered as a claim for working out my No Claims Bonus next year?

They said I could sell the car and use the plate on anotehr car, but want I want to know is can I sell the car to my dad or another relative and the registration be ok for them to drive it. I want to sell the car to my dad so taht he can drive that vehicle and I would drive his vehicle. I wasnt sure if the registration would stay suspended or not though. Regardless I am going to need to sell the car because I need a vehicle and it is of no use to me.

I have a 1998 Chevy Cavalier LS 4 door. Right now I have full coverage. Since the car is 10 yrs. old I was thinking of just having liability coverage. The car is in real good condition though. No rust, little damage, just some scratches and a couple of small bb dents on the passanger front door. Since the car is as old as it is the value isn't that great I'm sure, would it benefit me to drop comprehensive and collision coverage and just have liablity?

I am planning to buy a 2002 Nissan Sentra worth 7 Grand in the forth coming week.I am a new driver with learning permit .My age is 35 and I came recently from India.

I am trying for Insurance in different companies like GEICO,STATE Farm etc.Everywhere I get quotes like 2000$ For 6 month premium for a decent coverage.I am looking for something around 1000 - 1200 $ for 6 months.I would expect a maximum liability coverage ,a limited uninsured coverage and Collision Coverage with a Deductible of 1000 $.

Any Suggestions please ?

I snapped a coil spring on the front shock absorber of my car as a result of crashing into a speed ramp and the car is no longer drivable. I tried to do the job myself but was unable to do it. I have now made an insurance claim and the insurance companies recommended garage gave me a quote to replace both front shock absorbers which is quite expensive. My no-claims bonus is protected. Since making the insurance claim, I have found a garage that said he could finish the job I started at a reasonable price.I am now thinking I would like to cancel the claim end get my car back unrepaired. Is this advisable and would my insurance premium still be affected at renewal time. Also, as my car wasn't drivable after the accident and the garage had to collect it from my house and will have to bring it back.
