B/c of divorce I was to sign a car (both of our names on the title) over solely to my ex-husband. I did this, but he never put the car in only his name and then sold it to someone. Meaning, when he sold this car both of our names were on the title. I am certain the registration is expired or will be soon. I am assuming I am still liable for this car. The ex moved out of state and we have not had contact with each other. How do I get the title out of my name if I don't know who or where the person is that bought the car?

I currently have an expired out of state license but I recenlty moved to a new state and am trying to get a new license. The only problem is that I have 2 traffic tickets and flags on my old license. Is it possible for me to get my new license without having to pay these old out of state fees? Do all DMV's have a national database or is it only for each state?

Hi,
My car was rear ended over a month ago. I got the insurance information from the other party and filed a claim. I spoke to both my insurance company and her insurance company. However, barring one return call a few weeks ago, her insurance company has stopped communication with me (and my insurance).

The claims adjuster is simply not returning calls. My car is not yet fixed. I'm not sure what I should do. I figure they are doing this because clearly their client is at fault. Is it worth persueing legally ?

Wyoming and Florida are the subject states. This was done to avoid confusion if something should happen to her. Now she is getting older and I am worried about her causing an accident and getting sued. She does maintain insurance and she is the only driver of the vehicle. Thanks
