If you passed your test before 1997 then you can, but the law changed in 97 so if you passed after that you will have to put in for a type of lgv licence

You need a C1 entitlment on your licence to drive between 3.5 and 7.5 tonnes - if you passed your car test before 01/01/1997 you will automatically have it. If after you will need to apply for the provisional entitlement and take a theroy and practicle test.

Yes but if your driving licence was issued post 1997 then there are weight restrictions especially if you are towing a trailer. Check your licence to see if it has group C1 or C1E on it. then go to http://www.dvla.gov.uk to check the current regs.

No, you now have to take a test to drive a 7.5 tonner.

Yes if u have C+E on your license . u used to get it automatically but now you have to pay extra
