im 19 i'm want my permit so i can legally learn how to drive. if i get the permit and pay the $21 (Louisiana) do i have to pay aother $21 when i get my DL? please don't say call the DMV. thanks for the help!

yes you have to pay for a license. mine was 33 bucks and the permit was 21. you have to pay for that plastic. if you call the dmv you would get more accurate information.

Yes the permit and license are charged seperately as they are different things.
