I was involved in a very minor accident that resulted in a cosmetic scraping of the other vehicle. My vehicle did not puncture, gauge, break or damage the other car, but my paint transferred to the other vehicle. What is the likely cost to repair such damage? I have Allstate Insurance. This is my 1st offense. Will my insurance rates go up?

My car was stolen and damaged, but my claim was denied because the thieves did not damage the key area of the car, they have in their policy that if a car was stolen with a key they are not responsible, they claim someone got ahold of our keys my husbands or mines and i guess magically put them back. How can i prove my car was stolen? The damage on the car was not sufficent for them, i dont feel safe driving the car, i dont know what the thieves did to it because now it wont even start, is this a lost cause?

I was involved in an auto accident where the other party was at fault, and the other parties ins co already admitted fault. I only had liability (never again) and my totalled car had a value of $13000. However, the insured was only covered for up to $10k, shorting me $3k. I have minor scrapes and visible scarring on my head from the airbag hitting my glasses. I really only want the value of my car, but if I have to go through lawyer to get property and bodily injury claims of over $25k, after lawyer fees, what am I left with? I want to settle with the Ins Co directly.

Well, this week I got into an auto accident and there were three witnesses as officer told me. The other driver ran the red light so I collided with them. The one witness said that there was green light for me and the other said it was green for the other lady. But I know she ran the red light but the witness just felt sorry for her. What should I do? I don’t want to take blame for her. Does your insurance goes up for “no-fault” since your insurances pays for your damages? What happens usually?

My friend has an ex-boyfriend and his car is in her name, not for his car payments but the title is in her name and she needs to get it out of her name because he won't find another person to put the vehicle in someone else's name. What rights does she have to get the vehicle out of her name? He is really hesitating about this. Help!

I was entering into a parking lot by making a right turn in to the lot. As I approached to the ramp, a parked SUV on my right side accelerated forward and we both collided into each other. I drive a mini van. My van’s front of right rear tire collided with SUV left front bumper. I did not see the SUV moving. I only realized the accident after we have collided. The driver of SUV claims she was parked (She was in the SUV going back and forth trying to align into parking space on the street). Since I did not see the SUV moving, I am confused weather if I am at fault. There was no damage to the SUV. However, my car sustained damages.

He broke the red light and hit a Merzidez. Her insurance agreed to pay for everything. Will her premium go up and how much? He was not listed on the policy, because they wanted to save money. If the insurance pays, why should we pay additional cost to add somebody on the policy?

This will be the first time, I own and insure a car. It will be a new model, either 2006 or 2007 sedan or SUV.

I am 25 years old. I am a female. I have had my DL for 3-4 years now. I've only been insured under my mother's insurance (for short times, while visiting her in the States!)

Upon, buying my own new vechile, in Canada, I was wondering, what the range would be for:

A.) Myself being primary driver
B.) Additional, second driver, boyfriend 24, new first time driver!
C.) A + B

If someone could help me out, I would be greatful on any information or links pertaining to Canadian information.

Cheers,
Jennifer

We both agree the car is all mine and he has no problem removing his name. The problem is my insurance went way up due to him having to be insured also because he's co-owner and well, his driving record and credit history aren't helping out. How do I get rid of his name and keep everything else?!!

I recently moved out of state and need to switch my drivers license. According to the state DMV a current, valid license is needed or a copy of my driving record. Well, I just happened to notice that my license expired the beginning of January. I'm in a bit of panic since I have to take time off from work to go to the DMV and I don't want to waste my time if they're just going to turn me away. Oh, they also said that I don't have to take a test as long as the license hasn't been expired for over a year. So can anyone give me their opinion on what I should expect?

After reporting to AAA insurance company, she called her parents and told them about it and they said she wasn't corvered. What happens now? She has one of the people from AAA coming tomorrow to take pictures of the damaged car.
