This is for answerer no. 7. i boarded the bus with my son's pushchair. the bus started going as soon as i got on the bus at a high very speed. i care fully made my way to where you put the pushchair. i did not have time to hold on and couldnt because of the pushchair. the bus stopped out of nowhere, really hard. i went flying and hit a pole, my son's pushchair tipped over, that is how hard the driver braked. My son also suffered an injured knee for a week. he was 3 at the time. I really do not see how i could have held on, there really was no way.

Get a solicitor, you will get compensation, the bus will have insurance to cover your injury. The car stopping does not matter the car did not injury to you or make any contact with the bus. This is a claim solely against the bus company and the driver involved.

It is down to you to hold on when travelling on a bus. It is a moving vehicle and cars do cut buses up causing drivers to brake and then drive off.
This is a typical accident with passengers on buses which is why I was taught when driving a bus to hit the offending car and let the insurance sort it out. That way you would be claiming against the car driver and not the bus company. A bus can drive with standing passengers, you make yourself secure.

I'm not sure I understand your situation... You say you wer boarding the bus when the driver suddenly braked! Shouldn't the bus be completely stopped before you attempt to board it?

Sorry but your question doesn't make sense.
If you were boarding the bus surely it was stationary?
Even if the bus was moving off after you had boarded it is up to you to prove that the driver was negligent in his/her actions.
By all means put in a claim but it is up to you to be able to prove negligence or liability against the bus company or its employee.

call the bus corporation and ask them who their coverage is with. Then report a declare on the bus coverage corporation to your son's injuries. The coverage corporation will check out in the event that they owe to your son's injuries due the motive force's strikes. the motive force could desire to have suggested to his boss while he back that day or on smash that a passenger's toddler have been injured on the bus on the same time as utilising. If he did no longer, then while the coverage corporation investigates, they'll in turn notify his corporation. yet;;;;;;;if the motive force had no longer braked in time, he could have hence had rear ended the different bus which will have brought about many passengers to maintain injuries. the actuality that he did no longer ask if he replaced into ok, yet appeared interior the reflect, must be that he ought to no longer thoroughly turn around on the same time as utilising. in simple terms your son sustained injuries and must be in question if in actuality he replaced into strapped on in a buggy area, or if he could have been extra effective to be in a seat? i'm in US, so unknown what a buggy area is. yet maximum buses have awful seat belts and protection, so don't understand approximately London buses. in many situations in an twist of destiny, a record is drawn up detailing the twist of destiny and all passengers will receive statements. yet this replaced into no longer an twist of destiny, yet your toddler did sustain injuries, which you accompanied as much as make advantageous your toddler replaced into fantastic. anybody can sue, yet will you win? It sounds extra such as you have been extra dissatisfied with the bus drivers "strategies-set" which I agree replaced into awful. He probable could desire to have asked you in case you probably did in actuality call NHS and in case you have been going to take the toddler to his wellbeing care provider to be appeared at, yet he in simple terms omitted you. solid luck and happy your son had an entire restoration.
