First of all you call the nearest office of the department of motor vehicles near you. Explain to them that your license is suspended. Since motor vehicle offices keeps this kind of info on file 24/7, ask them where the initial suspension comes out of. They will in general direct you to the town and or village court clerks office to which the suspension order came out of. Proceed to ask them how much is the fine. Pay it either in person or via mail. Upon taking care of that they will notify motor vehicle in your state and tell them that the fine has been paid and to have your driving privileges restored. To expedite this process, I would highly recommend for you to go to the court clerks office in person. In return they will give you a reciept to show that the fine has been paid. Keep this reciept with you at all times for at least 90 days. This way here if you privileges have been restored and they say it hasn't just show them your reciept.

You can Call the number "311" to ask for those info... they provide the most accurate info over what we can tell you...
Dont even mix this number with "911", because it takes care ppl who has these type of question, such as "where is my car at if it was tow by the city"

I would start with the local DOT or place you got it at. They should know and would be able to take your money.
