Thank you...someone keyed my car and the Police will do nothing without hard evidence (I am very disapointed...the police seems to be to Posh to deal with car vandalism!!!) so I am doing a little investigation of my own

DVLA will tell you, IF you can prove an genuine need, and you'll have to pay.
Happened to me once when some pr1ck backed into my car in a car park and scarpered. I had witnesses but the police weren't terribly interested as it wasn't on the highway, and DVLA accepted my reason. It's all to do with the Data Protection Act. They won't tell you just because you're curious.

Police or DVLA but you must have a good reason for asking, eg accident. Curiosity isn't good enough!. DVLA charge a fee. If you can get to the car try putting a note on the windscreen.

Unfortunately under the data protection act you are not able to fine this one out despite a criminal act being carried out against you. Just in case you got the wrong guy

You can't DVLA will not release that info. If yo had an accident then report it to the insurance company - let them sort it out.

get a job at the DVLA or become a police officer..if done something wrong get in touch with police and or your insurance company??
