i bought an old truck to use as a work truck since i own property, but it is not my main vehicle, i registered the truck last year when i bought it, however now that i really wont be driving it, am i required by law to register again this year, and if i dont have to will i encounter any problems if i decide to register it again later on?

You do not have to register your truck if you do not drive it on a public road. If you decide to register it in the future, they will ask you if you have driven it on a public road since your last registration or if you have received a traffic citation for no registration. If you answer "no" to both those questions, they will not penalize you. If you answer "yes", you will have to pay for 1 additional year of registration fees.
