The reason why I ask is because I can't afford the premiums going up. We've never had a problem before with accidents, but this time she was at fault and they are settling for an amount large enough to raise the rates. Am I able to just cancel the insurance and go with another provider? Thanks in advance for all the help. It is greatly appreciated.

My buddy has an expired California license plate on the front of his car, and an up-to-date Florida license plate on the back (he lives and the car is driven in Florida). In Florida you're only required to have a license plate on the back of your car. My argument is that having a *real* plate from another state on the front of your car could confuse a driver in front of you when trying to record your tag if needed. For this reason I would assume there would be some kind of law against having a *real* (non-vanity) plate from another state displayed anywhere on your car (expired or not), much less the front. Does anyone know if there is such a law in Florida? Or any other state for that matter? (He drives nation-wide in this vehicle.) Thanks in advance.

I have not been in a accident but someone is putting a false claim on me that I have been in a accident and they have noted down my vehicle registration number down. The claim the opposition party has made is a false claim and they want to take this matter to CCJ. I have told my insurance company that the claim the opposition party has made is false and I have never seen them before. If I was involved in a accident with them then surely I would've known and we would've stopped and exchange details but this wasnt the case. I am getting very stress over this and I am very unsure as to what to do next.
P.S. My insurance company is already aware of the situation I am in but they are not proving to be very helpful.

Recent auto accident is riddled with problems. What should be cut and dry is not. The other driver was cited and a ticket written. Other driver isn't a US citizen but has D.L., car ownership and is insured. When the police officer said "make sure you call your insurance company", the other driver said, "do we have to", to which the P.O. of course said yes. Well I went home and immediately called my insurance company. Five days later and I hadn't heard from the other insurance so I called them. (Happy to be alive and I just wanted my car fixed.) They have so far not even spoke with him. He hasn't called them and they can't seem to get in contact with him. Tonight my windshield was smashed right in front of my house! I believe he was behind it, but no witnesses so I can't prove. No other cars on street damaged and I don't have problems with anyone else.

Should I get a lawyer now, push the issue with my insurance, or wait awhile to see what his insurance company says?

I backed out of my driveway and accidentally hit my daughter's car. I have an SUV and my bumper went over hers causing about $1,000 worth of damage to her car and about $500 damage to mine. My insurance says I have to pay two deductibles. It was the same accident and her car was just sitting there.

First car suddenly stopped because there is a parked car in the middle of the street. Then a second car came in and made a complete stop on time without striking the first car. However, a thrid car strikes the second car and a fourth car strikes the thrid car, pushing the second car to the first car.
So Whose fault is it?

I know that the law requires drivers to be in full control of vehicles at all times. but Whose fault is it? Is it going to be all three drivers behind the first car's faults?

Thank you

What is the point of traffic school? I remember I got two tickets in high school, paid the fees, went to traffic school. . .and when I went to get new insurance, the tickets we're still on my report and my insurance was raised.

What is the point of it? It's NOT taken off your record. . . And it costs time and money. . .

Something I'm not going to have once I pay this damn ticket I just got.
