I was i n an accident in my fiance's blazer that my sister was driving when we flipped 4-5 times. I was the only person injured and have permanent facial scaring and back and neck problems. I have had 3 catscans since and my insurance has stopped paying my bills and now want to close the claim Tuesday. What is a good offer to settle with?

I just realized my road tax ran out on 31 October 2006. DVLA didn't send me a reminder as the last reminder was for a year & I only had it for 6 months. What do I do? will I be fined?

Would appreciate response in terms of insurance (over 9 months paid insurance still left) and the car being beyond recovery, may result in me going for a new car as well as my DL with no negative record ever in California state. The accident was just an accident - no DUI, no neglect on any person's part!

To start things off, I dont have a license. I know, Iknow im stupid, dont repeat what I know already. The guy who damaged me dad's car stopped and told me he was going to pay for the damage he did to my car. My dad arrived at the scene and we got his information- insurance, ID #, address, name, phone number. We filed a claim to his insurance but they talked to him and he denies it all, saying it was MY fault! I acatually have eye witnesses- my 2 bros. I also have a text message he sent me that night saying sorry and to call him when i get an estimate on the damage. How can I make him accept he did it? I know i might get a ticket for no license, right? HELP!!!

So I just got my licence and im 18 yrs old. Whats the next procesdure to get insurance and registration? Go to secretary of state and putting the title in my name do i get my registration there? Then go get insurance then come back to secretary of state and get my licence plate?

I got caught driving my car about six months ago without a license or valid insurance. (I own the car but only my wife is insured and licensed to drive it) I received a letter informing me of my impending court date next month a few days ago....... and then today I got caught driving the car again under the same circumstances!! I know I’m an idiot and very stupid not to have taken my test but money has been very tight and....... I have no real reasons I’ve just been an idiot. I'm after sensible informative answers please as my wife is currently going through a course of IVF and I am very scared that I might be going to prison at this critical time in both our lives.

We took a title loan out on our car 2 years ago.
We made our payments, then they fired a worker for stealing money. well he got us to. They will not give us our title and they are saying the car has been in repo for 2 years now. we have moved out of state and need to tag the car to the new address. What can we do?. It is a title and loan place and we found out they have a lien loan on the title. Can we still tag it in the new state? Any help would help.

Are you legally bound to settle a compensation dispute if you have agreed with your own representatives in a telephone call or does it not become binding until you have signed an agreement to settle the matter?. Can you be penalised by your own reps or is nothing considered a done deal until you have signed the terms of settlement paperwork? Thanks.

While some one was loading her stuff on her car at the Costco parking lot, her back was turned against the cart, it rolled and damaged my car leaving a dent and a few scratch (estimated $350). I thought the person wanted to deal this issue in person-to-person, but she was not being cooperative. She told me she made a claim on costco (I don't how this could happen but..), and I made a call to costco and I found out that no one by the name of the person had made such claim and that if the accident was not by the employee, such claim could not be made on/against costcos. She gave me her insurrance number, which proves that she admitted her mistake at first. However after a few days, she ignores my phone calls and shows no effort in solving this case. Even her auto insurance does not cover such accident. Should I just notify her property insurance, or should I file a case on small calim court? Help me, please, I want to resolve this problem.

The owner of the bike did not give permission for his bike to be used and my son hit two parked/unoccupied vehicles and did not have a licence. No other parties were invovled in the accident.

Last Saturday someone hit my Rio in the left rear wheel well, they crushed the door shut and did damage to all three panels in the area of impact. Now I'm waiting for my insurance company to decide what they're going to do, I'm afraid they'll write the car off as totalled. If they do that, what sort of compensation could I expect?
Otherwise what can I do to get a replacement vehicle or repairs? My dad and the insurance agent said something about getting a salvage title and doing the repairs myself, if I do that does the insurance company help cover the costs still?

I was in a stationary queue waiting for car in front to turn right when a car hit me from behind, the car was travelling at 50mph according to driver ( " I was only doing 50" ). My car a fiesta ST had the boot completely totalled, even the spare wheel was ripped out leaving a large hole in the boot floor, and the other car an astra had the front end stoved in. The driver of the astra has admitted liability and her insurance company have said that they will pay out. however i was covered by Fords 1 week free insurance, they have said that they want to repair the car,even though i have told them that i will not drive the car again, as i will not feel right in the car after it has been involved in a major accident, plus i will have to declare the accident when it comes to selling it. Do I have to have the car repaired or am I entitled to a new car as none of this is my fault?
