Depends on the ticket. Usually a moving violation like speeding or DWI, it will be on your record and other states will know about it. Many, if not all states, will refuse to give you a license in their state if you license is suspended in another. I used to work for a DMV, and at the time they were initiating a nationwide access to drivers licenses. It has to do with the CDL's Commercial Drivers License and now encompasses regular licenses and can be accessed, as I said in many, if not all the states.

Most of the time yes, and it depends on the states involved. some states are connected more directly to each other's computer system than others. For example Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia are direct connected to each other's computers, but Tennessee and Nevada are not direct connected so only higher end violations will show.
