i got hit by a person who didn't have enough insurance to pay me.

we traded infos and i got his claim info stuff and when i went to the body shop they told me that he didnt have enough insurance to pay for the damage.. only $5,000

im not mad at him or anything because the guy actually looks like he have alot of money and i understand the fact it was an accident and he was very sorry for it.

so how do i deal with this? should i claim it to my insurance instead? how does this thing work?

On September 8 I was driving to school and a lady hit my car. I was driving on Motel Drive going straight and a white car was park on the side of the road. The car did not use signals or anything, so I assumed it was a parked car. I kept going straight and the car pulled in a hit my car from the ride back side of my door.

I jot down her information and since no one was injured, I did not call the police. She said she was sorry and the sun was in her eyes so she did not see me. Then I went to school and told her I will report it after school because that morning I had an lab for my AP chemistry class.
I report the claim to my insurance AAA. 1 month later I received information on the lady's Insurance Company Safeco. I called Safeco and the man told me that she said it was not her fault. Her story was "She was pulling into the road and a car hit her"

I was quite confused because I thought it was obviously her fault and wasn't worth going to court for it. Now how do I sue

I want to sell my car which is still being paid for and I've found it next to impossible to find informaiton regarding what kind of forms and documentation I need to complete. I would greatly appreciate some specific information.

I currently have it listed for sale, but if I actually found a buyer, I'd be up a creek. Obviously a standard bill of sale would be required, but would this meet all of the state's requirements. Is this the only documentation required?

But you had nothing to do with it, of course. Let's say your friend borrowed your car, then someone's body is found in the trunk. The police impound the car for the investigation, and then once the case is closed, do you get the car back? What if you don't want it back, or the decomposing body has made it intolerable? Will your insurance buy you a new car? Would that be comprehensive?

A lady either did not stop at a stop sign or did not yield (I'm not sure) last Friday, and I hit her at the intersection (I did not have a stop sign). Her insurance company is claiming that I am 10% liable because I should have seen her coming, that it is my responsibility to pay attention to drivers on the side streets. I can agree with that, however, the street has houses lining it, which would not allow me to see her coming down the road. I was told at one point that they are basing my liability on the fact that I stated in the recorded statement that I saw her at the "last second". I also stated in the statement that I tried to brake and turn to avoid her, but was unable to. My husband has said to hire an attorney, but I'm know that will cost us more than the 10% that they are not willing to pay at this point. Any advice? What should be my next step?
