got a fix-it ticket for green neon underglow, any idea how much it will cost?

I hope it costs a thousand dollars and you are forced to junk your idiotmobile. Why do all of you nancyboys feel such a strong need to put underglow devices on your cars? And spoilers? And spinning rims? Women tell that it is to make up for your.....well, "short"comings, like little tiny guys with huge trucks? Is this true? Are you, umm, lacking elsewhere? Go to court, tell the judge that you made a serious mistake in judgement, pay the fine, junk your car, grow up, and get on with your life.

That depends upon the jurisdiction. Many of those tickets are bogus, written by uneducated cops. Check the laws in your jurisdiction.

If you live in CA, and as long as the bulbs themselves are not visible, there is no violation of the law. You can get the ticket dismissed.

Normally a "fix-it" ticket only requires you to prove that the defect was corrected. There is no cost for the ticket itself in most jurisdictions as long as the defect is corrected within the stated time limit.

Its probably a base fine of about $90-120 based on the township. However many times for a fix it ticket they just require you to fix it then bring it to court to show the officer it's gone. If you plan on keeping it on the car than just pay the fine and don't go to court.

nothing if u disconnect it and them tell them u did it or go to a police station and have a office write u a note saying u disconnected it and take tit to court. I have the same thing happen to me good luck.

usually if you prove that you did fix it they will usually drop the charges....but it depends if your gonna fix it or not...and if you dont i would say around 60 bucks cause thats what my friends was. Also depends on where you live, every place is different
