I bought the car used, and for about six months I had no problems. The first problem I noticed was that the antenna quit retracting automatically when the car was turned off. Then It started blowing the fuse (no. 13) for the interior lights and radio. Usually when I try to replace it, the fuse will blow even before I can get it into the socket. Sometimes it will function for a few days before the fuse blows. What could be the problem here? I have had it to two service centers without luck. They can't seem to find the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure if this is something I can fix, I would be satisifed with disabling the darn thing, we lock the van and the alarm sets, anywhere from 10 min to 10 hrs later the alarm goes off?
Any help would be appreciated

I just recently had to have the original exhaust fixed, and due to cost of a muffler, went to straight pipes from the down tube out.(did not have stacks put on...original exhaust rout)
My fuel mileage has gone to sh!t in a hand basket.
My question is do they need to have some back pressure to run correctly, or do I need to get the injectors retimed.
Was averaging 18MPG now has dropped to around 16.
Does worse while towing.

My friend has a colt vista wagon, 4x4. When she shifts into 5th gear, it seems to stay in 4th. RPMs and speed do not change. also, her back-up lights dont work. is this an electrical thing, or is it the 5th gear servo?

if it was a servo, wouldnt it just be like having it in neutral?

i'm having trouble getting it to start all i get is a click and that's it i've replaced the ignition coil had the starter checked it was still good, changed the ignition switch and nothing, i've hooked up a toogle switch and it will start and run but the battery is being drained in the process. Can't figure it out can anyone help me find the problem or has had a similar problem anything would help
