I am having trouble figuring out why the brake lights on my beetle won't work, the bulbs are fine, and replaced a few fuses. But still can't get the brake lights to work, the back up lights and turn signals all work. Any ideas??

I looked at buying a BMW compact 316i P reg but have decided against it as I have heard running costs are too high. I want something sporty, 1.6, that looks good below about £1400. Anything up to 90000 miles. Any ideas? Thanks

Dear All,

I kindly ask you for some information and help. I have got the following observation :
The hand of the fuel indicator does not go back to the zero state when I switch off completely the car and all the others go into default zeroed positions. I have a Renault Megane 1996, so I am wondering if it is normal exactly for the fuel indicator or not? If not how it could be fixed and where is the problem ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've acquired a 93 Sentra 1.6L for dirt cheap. It is in really good shape with low miles. But I'm looking for replacement parts for it. It needs a new trunk lock, glove box door hinge is broke. The latch on the sun roof is broke and it needs a new seal around it. I've looked for these parts and couldn't find any, I haven't called the junk yard yet. But I would like to be able to order them from the net if possible. Anyone have a clue of any sites I might find these parts?

Bought a 94' Nissan Altima and altough it issupposed to have 29 mpg highway, I tested it over 3 months and I get about 20 mpg!

Can there be a mechanical reason for this? A leak? Anything I can do?

I am looking at going and buying either an F-250 or an F-350 truck. Kinda wondering (diesel engines are foriegn to me) what is the best size of powerstroke (liter wise) out there. I know Fords always change a thing here or there and seem to change the engine even if it is just fine. Also what year, engine alll that fun stuff would work best with red dyed diesel, if the case ever turns up I have to put some in my tank. I appreciate it all.

I hear a lot of bad stuff about the Ford Taurus, such as transmission and engine problems. I own a 2003, it works like a charm, no problems, noises or anything, and yet a lot of people seem to hate this type of car so much (maybe because it's the first aerodymically designed car in 1986). Anything else out there?

pump. Its Hydrolic. Fan is running because I run the A/C & there is no fan clutch because it runs off the water pump..Pressure test was fine, no yellow or white under oil cap, so heads ok. Reservoir stays full until I release the escape valve which alleviates the bubbling in the reservoir. Note, the thermostat is located underneath, so it senses the cool water coming in before it gets a chance to circulate & cool down the engince. Why is this car set up like this? Can it be modified? V6, 100k. Help figure out why its overheating in traffic.

It's not that great to begin with, so how much worse could it be? Any ideas? I have a lightweight trailer and I think wind resistance is the worst culprit. Am I wrong?
