put new computer in and it still dont work , we dont know what this code means does anyone know

Code 56 is a Quad driver module.A quad driver consists of 4 transisters that turn up to four things on and off by computor input.Thier could be a wire or wires that have backed out of the computor plug that plugs into the computor.Check wiring and all vacuum hoses for correct connection.Could be a bad computor ground.Check grounds on engine and clean battery posts.

These are not codes that mean to replace the computer. The quad driver codes are for the circuits or the device that the computer controls that can have high circuit current which usually means a solenoid. The usual culprits for this are one of the EGR valve's solenoids, coolant fans/relays, or the solenoid for the TCC inside the transmission. You will have to get a diagram of the quad drivers circuits to determine which one is causing the problem. Go to the dealer and ask for a diagram. Good luck.
