I have a friend who owns a '05 Expedition with the 5.4 motor. He gets around 13 without towing, and around 9-10 towing his 24' foot camper.

wind is a big factor and your mileage will start dropping rapidly at speeds over 60. If you drive 55-60 mph you should get 9-11 mpg

use synthetic grease in the axle bearings and in the truck
