If you have one you know what I am talking about. The dashboards crack no matter how good you take care of them, and there has not been a recall to fix the problem.

Mine had about 6 cracks in it. I attempted to take it off to repair myself. The process if trying to remove it ended up breaking it into hundreds of pieces. The plastic is very fragile. What a terrible design!

ive got a 94',a 95', and a 97', all rams. none of mine are cracked. i guess next time use armorall protectant on yours.

Go to you're local auto parts store and see if you can order a dash cover that will cover the dash. they look great and cost around 30 bucks. Changing the upper dash is not only a bear, but expensive. These covers can also be found on the web.

You can buy a new piece at your local dealership. It is called an upper I/panel the price will depend on the color of your interior. They range in price from about $150.00 to $350.00
