You are in trouble!! Sometimes you can push or pull on the cap as you turn and if you are lucky it will start to spin off. If it does not do this, you will either have to destroy the cap or get a locksmith to unlock it. We used to just rip off the top and tap on the internals until it started to move. Once it moves it is easy to get off. When we did this we obviously had to replace the cap after. Good luck.

i have a Nissan that did that, i had to put tape on a screw driver to pry it open, i put the tape on it so it wouldn't chip the paint, and once i got it open the lock nut had slipped loose on the inner part of the lock,it was an easy fix, some cars also have the little lever with that will also open it,if yours doesn't ,just try and be careful and not scratch it,those are hard to get open sometimes when they do this, good luck with it.

You should go to the Dealer and see if they have another, If its a older car you can also go to a Salvage yard and see if they have any Keys to the cars they buy off people...Good luck
