I have a 95 contour and my turn signal stopped working. THe emergency lights have worked for a while. Im guessing I need to replace the signal flasher, but im not sure where its located and how hard it is to get to and or remove? How about the switch? thanks

i have a 1990 cherokee 4.0L and when i tow my very light camper (900lbs.) it seems to pull so easy i want to keep it in overdrive, the manual says for towing i should be in 3rd. i also have a power trany button and im thinking i could just use overdrive with this power tranny button on. im going for best posible gas mileage but want to make sure im not doing any damage to the transmition. i understand when im bucking a strong wind or pulling a steep hill its 3rd gear allways butt i was woundering if o.d. would be ok for pulling this in normal driving conditions and not over 60 mph. what are your thoughts? thanks in advance.

I have recently bought a ford tempo 1989 GL and I cannot find the button to open the gas cap. I can however open using the manual overide cable in the trunk, but I don't want to get out and open the trunk everytime I get gas.

I'm looking at buying a mk3 golf convertible. My old mk1 roof used to leak , soaking the seats when it rained. Just wondered if any one out there has a mk3 which lives outside and could let me know if theirs does.

when it shuts off, I can literally touch the key and it will come back on. Also, Sometimes, the car key must be held in to start the car, i can hear it click or catching then i can start it, if i don't wait for catch, the car will just get a low idle and shut off..Sometimes the car wont even fire up at all...I have no idea where to start and can't afford a dealership looking at every possible thing...any ideas??? PLEASE HELP!!!

I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima SE with a little over 120,000 miles on it. I'm having trouble with hesitation on acceleration (under 20 mph). At first, the car would only hesitate for a second when I would press on the gas, but now, it's gotten much worse, hesitating for as long as 5 to 10 seconds until I finally reach 20 mph...then it seems to run normally. What does this indicate and how do I fix it?

I have taken it to the Garage and they can't seem to find a problem or even notice it. But there is definitely a strong smell of petrol always coming from car so bad you cannot always have the windows open - does anyone else have the same car and has noticed the same thing. I own a 1986 Volvo 240 GL. When the gasoline tank is full, the car runs great. When the gasoline level hits the halfway mark or below, the car starts acting up. At times when I hit the accelerator it feels like the car is going to run out of gas/loses might/shakes a bit. I have to let go of the accelerator for a second and then press down on it again for the car to run normally.
I was wondering if this problem rings a bell for any mechanics or automobile experts?? Is there a simple solution I can try (i.e. fuel injector cleaner or gas treatment, etc.)?? Any suggestions or helpful comments are appreciated.
