Will 16" rims clear the calipers on an '03 Dodge Ram 2500 4wd? Factory are 17".

The reason that I am going to 16" is they are a hell of a lot cheaper and more tread patterns available, also a lot better rim selection. As for the crippled remark, kiss my ***. If there was a tire center in this area who knew anything I probably would call. This was a simple question for the people who know, and I thank them, not dumbasses.

They should fit just fine... You can actually probably go to a 15" rim if you want... Unless it has a aftermarket "big brake kit" 16" rims will fit fine... Rarely do you find "big brake kits" on vehicles unless a previous owner installed them...

Check the clearance between the caliper and the inside of the rim. If there is more than ½" clearance they will fit.

you should have no problem with this...but why do you want to put 16's on a truck?
