About a month ago my 1999 S-10 4x4 engine cutout while I was driving, I replaced the fuel pump & Filter and it ran fine for about a week. Then I started noticing the engine was hard to start in the morning, until one day it would not start at all, I thought it was the fuel pump again, but I went ahead and gave it a jump start and it started right up. I bought a new battery and had the alternater tested. That didnt fix it, I hooked up a multi meter from the ground on the battery to the ground on the truck and it is reading 12V, Isnt it suppose to read .05? I left the multi meter there and pulled all the fuses under the hood and in the cab, and also pulled the wires off the altenater, nothing changed the multi meter reading. I just tested my battery today with the multi meter and it reads 12V, shouldn`t that be enough to start the engine? Why do i need a jump start every time? I`m lost, Please help

I recently bought a used 2002 Honda Civic EX, and just found out that I have 14" wheels on it, where the manufacturer calls for 15" (it's written on the inside of the front door). I want to find out if having smaller rims than what the car is built for is dangerous or can cause damage, or is it common pracitice to have 14" rims on a car that call for 15" (the car dealer said that it is common to have smaller rims, which I find hard to believe).
thanks for any help,
Y

It seems to be riveted on the steering column. The metal tab that turns the plastic switch broke off.

I got my battery checked....fine. Altenator checked....fine. I have problems starting it like once every two weeks though. It is like the engine is turningover is how my dad put it. He thinks it is the fuel injector. What do you think and about how much will it cost me. THANKS

My car seems to be dying after driving for about 10 minutes, and I changed out my fuel filter because I thought it was clogged...

Does anyone know of the location of the fuel pump relay?

Thanks!

I paid 10,000 dollars for my 2001 honda civic with 45,000 miles already on it around 7 months ago..I'm now starting to think I got ripped off...I've seen 2004 honda civics with like 15,000 miles on them for only like 14,000 dollars. Did I get ripped off or is that the normal asking price?

I mean i always hear people swearing those cars will get up to at least 200,000 miles before ever having the slightest problem...well if this is true, then why can't those companies offer a warranty that's like 15 year/200,000 miles? Just wondering...

I just purchased 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse (5 speed-stick shift) with a blown 420A engine. I have not heard many good things about this engine. Is there another engine out there that I can buy that will fit the Eclipse? If not is there a reliable place to have this engine rebuilt?
