I am asking because a new pilot light turned on in the dashboard this morning. I'll do my best to describe it...it's literally a long screw that says "Service" on top. Aside from my car basically telling me that "I'm screwed" what does this mean? Or where can I find a manual that I can look it up in?

i have lost the manual for my citroen xsara. And i dont understand one of the light icons on the dash. its on the right side and looks like a dripping tap, i know this is probaly self explainatory so i have fill the radiator and the window wiper fluids but it still flashes for about 6-7 seconds everytime i staret the car. Now when i am driving alond the every now again the dash lights up with the hazards flashing and the stop lights flashing. Has anyone any idea why this is happening..

I just changed oil in my Vanagon, (1.9 engine) and even after running for several minutes, the oil pressure light won't go off. Also, I have not used the van much lately, but when I do the gas mileage is really bad!(1/3 or 1/2 of normal) Can the gas mix with the oil in any way if something blew? It smokes some, but not horribly. Seems really low on power though. Don't know where to start. Thanks for your help.

I get a squealing sound from the engine after it
runs for about 5 minutes, sounds like a belt noise
If I take the oil fill cap off, the noise goes
away but engine runs terrible, like a vacumm leak.
When I put my hand over the fill hole it gets
sucked tight and the engine smooths out. Ive heard this engine had some manifold problems, but
I thought they pertained to coolant leaks. The
squaling noise I'm hearing sounds like it is coming from the rear of the motor down by the exhaust. Ever heard of this problem? Thanks for your time

I Have a 96Chevy Berreta and I know it's either my head or the HeadGasket that needs Rep. But my Qest.Is that mMy ex-Boyfriend told me it has an alluminom head on it.So is that a bad thing or is it just harder to get a new one if it is? And if it's warped can that one be fixed instaed of me having to buy a new head. The car isnt worth all that.It has a 3.1 and its a 6 cylinder. Z26, blows white smoke mustard looking oil, and gets hot...but has not over heated...i stoped driving it to get it fixed.it hasnt been drove in 4 M..

Left trunk open for a day 1/2, when trying to start it, everything went blank, thought it was a dead battery, bought charger it reads fully charged. Is there a reset button or how do I check for a fuse?

My key does not disable the Anti-Theft Alarm that was installed from the factory? I was told I would have to take the door lock out in order to fix this problem. Also my key only opens the driver door and not the entire vehicle. Anyone have any suggestions?
Please let me know where I can find the answers or give me your advice. Thank you in advance for all answers. Yes I can take it to VW but that is more costly than trying to fix it myself first.

I have a 92 sedan that has broken tail lights but it came with replacements. But when I tried to put the replacements in, the mounts don't line up and they are shorter then the opening.

I loose some power going up hills, it is jerky or hesitant in some gears, and there is a ticking sound that wasn't there before. Some days are better than others it seems to depend on the cold weather. Really cold weather and not warming it up properly seem to agitate it more. After research I found someone with the exact same problem and they were talking about distributors. What is that and what does it do anyone? Please help.
