Fuel filter is fastened to the firewall of the engine compartment slightly to the left. First remove the fuel pump fuse fourth down on the second row from the left side of the fuse box inside the car, run engine until it stalls. Twist loose the gas cap, Now no squirt; Filter has regular 5/16" fuel hoses that will be difficult to get off with out tearing. Mechanics use special loop pliers and hose pushing tools. You can do just about the same with needle nose pliers after using regular pliers to break loose the hose by twisting the filter with one hand and pliers on the hose at the filter twist pull and needle nose pry either side of the aluminum hose. Razor blade trim 1/4 inch of hose is sometime needed. lubricate the new filter with motor oil to reinstall hoses. Original clamps are good for more than one use. Do this outside some fuel will be in the filter and get on the floor. Right next to the gas water heater Ka Boom
