my brother got the car 2 years ago when he was 16 now he is a18.. i know its fast, beats all the tuners in town( honda civics, acura integras, even beat a 2007 mustang cobra i believe suppose to have 500hp) just wanted to know what the top speed on it would be since the speedomiter reads 85 but when we get to 85 the needle just hits 85 then bounces back so we're not sure how fast it could go.. also would like to know the horsepower and torque if someone knows for that engine.. its a 351 cleveland Motified i believe. I've had a mechanic and a dealer put in 3 different multifunction switches (between the two of them). This blew out my windshield wiper module and ended up costing me 400 bucks just to get the wipers working again. Is there a part that controls the high beams under the dash? The high beams will flash but only low beams come on when put in the high beam position. This has happened on all 3 multifunction switches.

My car wouldn't start. It sure tried hard. I finally got it started. But, then it pinged badly when I was driving it. It has had a slight ping for the past three weeks or so. I thought it just needed an oil change, so I got it one.

Does it have a timing chain? If the chain needs adjustment would this cause it to ping?

Could bad gas cause a pinging? Would a fuel cleaner help?

Help, please! :(

I have a 2002 VW Jetta. Usually when I lock it with the key fob, the horn beeps. I just had my car detailed and now the horn doesn't beep when I lock it. Any ideas on how to fix it? Did the detailer maybe hit something to deactivate the beep?

with new tires new cd player new head lights accesories , new struts, but the timeing belt needed changed and sometimes the speedometer didnt work but did sometimes, the car runs great and its a standard, never been wrecked and never broke down

i was told that pontiac is not doing a recall on it but i was thinking if there was enough people to file a complaint about then pontiac might do something about. it has cost me 350.00 to get switched and it starting to do the same thing again

They stopped working Christmas Eve, so far we have replaced the headlight relay, bulbs and sockets. They flip up like they should and all other lights work. We do not have the $ to take it to a shop but must get them fixed ASAP. This is our only ride. Any advice as to what to try next would be greatly appriciated. Also if anyone knows where I can get a color coded wiring diagram that would be great to as I'm afraid that it is a wire problem, perhaps a faulty ground.
