Nope, there is no need to remove the bumper to replace the headlights on the 02+ Altimas. The 02+ Altimas have semi sealed headlight cases that are accessible from the back of the headlight case when the engine compartment is open. The only problem that you will have is moving the junk out of your way to get your hands into the small area.
On the driver's side, you may want to remove the extra parts that connect into the air box. On the passenger side, you will need to remove the two screws that hold down the coolant overflow reservoir and move the reservoir out of the way. Once your working area has been cleared, you will need to unscrew the headlamp fixture from the back of the headlamp case and unhook the wires connected to the bulb. The bulb is held in the headlamp case by a little metal spring. Taking off the spring is a lot easier than trying to re-install it. It is imperative that you make sure that the bulb is seated correctly, that you do not touch the bulb with your fingers and that you make sure there is a good connection between the bulb and the headlight.
I would hit up the website, http://forums.nicoclub.com for more information.

Yes the bumper cover covers up two 10mm bolts that have to be removed to get the headlights out. The bumper cover only takes 10 minutes to get off.

I merely bought an '07 charger. i became finding at altimas as nicely yet they did no longer impact me. Resale is virtually the comparable for the two, different than once you're figuring out to purchase the charger r/t it is a minimum of 7k extra suitable than the V6 fashions. The charger is hands down the extra stylish of the two. gasoline mileage isn't too a techniques off. The altima(vs charger 3.5) probable wins with the aid of some gallons. Oh, do no longer purchase the two.7L chargers. they are not meant for long term making use of(small engine...heavy automobile). good success!
