Use in basic terms extreme mileage oil. guy made oil's molecules are small and can slip with the aid of tiny cracks much less stressful.

honda has a special oil 5w-20 that it recommends for all its automobiles. many large stores, walmart, etc, have now started carrying this weight. those that say oil is oil, it does not matter, or anything will do are wrong. oil is THE MOST important aspect of any engine, especially a honda. you can run the hell out of a honda for many many years as long as you keep the maintenance up. buy 5w 20 and change it every 3000 miles. dont buy store brands, castrol or honda oil is recommended by honda and acura.

depending on how many miles you put on it in a year. 5w-30 is the standard weight for the oil. if you do alot of driving than use a synthenic quaker or castor are good. unless your book that came with the car recommends a specific brand, (mine did not) just look for an oil type by how it handles your handling of the car.
