It has over 108,000 miles. It's a 4 cylinder, 4 door automatic w/ auto locks, windows. Cd player. I can't find a value or don't know what value they will use to determin if they need to total it.

replaced radiator, water pump (bad gasket-not pump), power steering pump, brakes (several times), an air conditioner high press. hose, heater blew out but just bypassed it rather than spend a lot of $$ to fix, and some other routine light maint. mostly done myself or with a mechanic friend. Had a real struggle with the rear brakes - fronts no problem. plugs were tough. what's your experience with this make and year?

is the backseat space in ther RSX good enough 4 2 full size adult. Also, do u think that only having 3 passenger seats rather then 4 will do (coupe vs sedan).

I have the password and im in the cave. I keep spining the vases and getting numbers but nothing adds up i have been stuck on this part for a week can anyone help me.

After many minor maintanence repairs, my jetta finally decided to take the big fall. It has been "lagging" in power when I step on the gas, usually in 2nd gear, but then it picks up. But a few days ago the lag became longer, then I heard a pop/bang from under the car, and then the engine became completely unresponsive to the gas petal. Eventually the engine died and I coasted to the curb. I noticed a sulfur smell when the car stopped.

A few extra things:
-When I start it the engine turns over but doesn't catch.
-When the "lagging" occured the RPM's didn't jump, they matched the speed I was going.
-There has always been a rattling sound, in any gear, around 3000rpm's.

As I said this may be the big repair, have any ideas on what the problem could be? And how much am I getting myself into?

I have a 94 4.3 v8 lt1 motor is the 5.7 lt1 intake the same? I want to build a 5.7 motor. I didn't know there is two size motors that look the same.
