I have a 94 4.3 v8 lt1 motor is the 5.7 lt1 intake the same? I want to build a 5.7 motor. I didn't know there is two size motors that look the same.

The 4.3 is a V6 and the 5.7 is a V8, The starters and I belive the pistons are the same, The intake on the V6 is shorter than the V8 and can not interchange.

i know what you're talking about, very few people know of the 4.3 liter v8 offered in chevy caprices in the 90s. yes, the intake is the same, they are virtually the same engine except for the dimensions and the 5.7 has a reverse flow cooling system. hope that helps.
