993 Turbo. It's a wild ride and a good solid car.

An M5 is a freakin' sedan (although a fast one) and the 996 engine simply isn't durable.

When Porsche goes GT racing, they use the 993 block and water-cool it. That should tell you something.

depends u dont have much money then buy the porsche and leave it like it is buy a m5 spend about 8 grand in it youll have a car that will pass the porsche in reverse going up a hill flooded with molasses in the middle of january under 4 fooot of snow enjoy!! get up with me i have a m5 for sale with this done i just got it out the shop and now it wraps 11,000 rpms so get up with me

A 996 Turbo, is the greatest car, its powerful , beautiful and you will love it, I suggest you the 05' to now
