I'm looking for something that goes fast. I'm giving up a white 97' Crystler Seebring convertible that has a double-barrel for it, so I want to make sure that it's worth it.

What should I go for?

I am moving into the NY city next fall. If I make a down payment on a new car, is it worth it? I will still have to pay it off after I am gone for school right?

My car is a 1998 Toyota Carolla. Dark Green. Some scratches on the front and rear. Eroded paint on the front hood. AM/FM radio. A/C and heater. 135.000 miles. Runs really smoothly.

Thanks,

When my husband passed away he left behind a 76 Corvette Stingray, he planned on restoring it but unfortunately didn't get far. It has no motor, needs new paint, tires, and interior needs redone. Now I am wanting to get rid of it but have no idea what it might be worth, if anything. I thought it might make a good project for someone and I just hate seeing it just sitting there collecting dust. Any suggestions?

Hi, Im looking to purchase a new car, but need some help.
My old cars engine has just blown up and no point in fixing it as it will cost more than the cars actually worth.

Im looking to buy something which is 1.4 or 1.6, £2000-£3000 spending limit, This will be my second car. Im looking for something a bit sporty! but not too sporty, Like a tigra or puma, Must have 4 or 5 seats!something that is relliable, as i have been told that the tigra is more likely to go wrong compared to the puma. I would like something around 1999 upwards.
I dont mind the corsa 2000 edition. I dont like things like a clio. Anyone shed any light on my new car>? thanks

We purchased a used car from a private owner 1.5 months ago. Right after purchasing the car we found the service engine soon light was on, we thought it was just a reminder of routine maintenance and did not pay special attention to it. As we drove the car more we found the gas mileage was awful and sometimes there was problems with starting the engine. So we took the car to auto repair and they detected serious engine problems and said the car was losing power awfully. The total repair would cost round 2000 bucks. They said the previous owner must have known the serious defect and intentionally cheated on us when selling the car by temporarily cutting off the service engine light. Is there any way we can get some of money back? We called the previous owner like crazy but she never answered the phone or got back to our messages. What could we do? Get a lawyer, file small court claims or something else? What’s the chance for us to get some money back? Thanks!

just past my driving test and becoming confused about the best option of buying a car. Is it best to pay a little more and buy from a dealer (at most a £1000 more). Or be careful and buy from a private seller?

also what car do you recommend? please help...

I've done a lot of research, but I still am having an issue narrowing it down to a handful of cars (let alone one or two). My problem is that, I'm worried I won't be able to get a real feel for the car with just looking at it or taking it for a 30 minute test drive. Is that really adequate? I mean, this is a potentially large purchase of something that is going to be a big part of my day-to-day life for at least the next couple of years. I know I'm not tied to the car if I buy or lease it, but I really don't want to go through the hassle of selling it, trading it in, trying to swap a lease, or any other time consuming measure that I'd prefer to avoid.

So, would an extended test drive be something I'd be able to convince a dealership of for me? If not for a weekend, but maybe an overnight use of the car? I've known of people and had friends do this, but I'm not sure if this is a typical occurence.

I bought a used small 98' two door car for 1000 bucks next door and it is immaculate but small. Everyone advises you need a new car...but I already have another 2000 two door car.
I switch using cars, both immaculate and around 97k miles..both dependable, both paid for. I don;t want to get a larger newer veicle and pay a car pymt...spoiled or what?
