I'm looking for something that goes fast. I'm giving up a white 97' Crystler Seebring convertible that has a double-barrel for it, so I want to make sure that it's worth it.

What should I go for?

the budget is around $4000, since that's what the crystler is worth

Ferrari?
Lambo?
Ford GT?

Seriously, you're going to have to let people know your budget and requirements in order to get a good answer.

3.5 liter Nissan Altima Coupe/sedan. Honda Accord V-6 coupe/sedan TSI, BMW 3 series. Toyota's are just to homely with that toyota badge so far up the grill. Ford Taurus 4wheel drive. All middle price cars that you should take time to drive. Decide wisely look and drive many. Buy the very best you can afford with as many options that will help sell the car in 5 to 10 years. Good luck giving up a convertable?

Well if you want to spend 1.4 Mill and top out at 408 MPH than you should get a Bugatti Veyron, I believe that is the fastest production street legal car but if you are looking for a muscle car, in my opinion, the Mustang is one of the few left. However, on the horizon is the return of the Challenger and Camaro. Personally, I am as giddy as a freshmen cheerleader about the Camaro. Bottom line is while we all would like power in our automobiles it comes down to how much you want to spend and what else you want to sacrifice (e.g. room, noise, etc).

You probably cant get a mid to late 90's fast car with the money you have. Just get a car that is cheap to maintain and doesnt cost a lot to fix (so no BMWs, Benz, Audis etc...)
