have a 2000 civc that runs fine, it will be paid off next year. I've been thinking of buying a 2nd car to use as a back up, just in case the one I have breaks down for some reason or whatever. If for some reason or another my car was in the shop I'd be screwed and I don't like asking other people for rides or favors. I could also drop rental car coverage off my insurance. This car is going to be very lightly driven but I just don't want something to be more trouble then its worth. I have a neighboor thats selling an 95 Olds Cutless ciera with 48k on it, he wants 995$ for it but If I could get it for like 750$ I might think about it. Its about 80$ extra the insurance for six months.

Okay, last winter the in-laws let my husband and I borrow their 1991 Caprice Classic while my truck was being fixed. It was just an extra car that they had...they have a lot of cars. Anyway, I was driving it and went across an icy bridge. It went out of control, and I totaled it. Needless to say, I have felt completely horrible about it ever since. They reassure me that it was okay, and that accidents happen, but I still feel like crap because of it. I'm wanting to buy them another car to replace the Caprice...but I don't know what kind I should go for. They liked the Caprice, because it was so big and compfortable. I want to get them another something like that...maybe even another Caprice. What kind of big, comfy cars do you think that I should consider?

Is the Mazda Tribute SUV a good car? Compared to a Toyota Camry. We need to trade in our car for an SUV and I was looking at the Tributes. I haven't mentioned it to my husband and being the big car guy that he is I don't want him to laugh at me. Thanks

We sold an old mini on ebay 3months ago and have recieved a letter from the buyer to say that they have had a mot done and the car failed with a list of problems. It had 5weeks mot when we sold it, sold due to needing the funds - no issue with the car.

They have already spent £700 on repairs. apparently the new list of repairs will cost £1200, they paid £800 for the car. When we listed the mini on ebay we put down the two minor problems that we knew about. They buyer bought it as a buy it now, came and test drove it & had a good look around. he paid in cash and was given a receipt stating that it was sold as seen.

In the letter he talks about the Sales of goods act 1989, which i believe isnt relevant as im a private seller. We sold the car in good faith, we hadnt had any problems with it in the 10mths we had it and didnt know of any problems with it.

Any advice please??

i purchased a vehicle from a dealership and my understanding was that the vehicle price was not negotiable.I'm still under the 5 day return policy and i found out that the NADA value of that vehicle is less than what i paid for the vehicle, even though the price the vehicle had on the sticker stated it was the book value.I've already signed the contract and still under the 5 day return policey. If possible i would like to see if i can get the price more closer to what the NADA value is.Do i have an option to negotiate the price or is it a done deal since i've already signed the contract?Or what options do i have in this matter?I still love my vehicle, but i'm just curious

I have bought a car in Florida, after 28 days having the car I noticed that I had no address to mail the payments for the car. Before the due, I called the dealer and after several tries I got to speak with someone who said that they were going to call me back. To make it short, they asked me to go over there "SIGN SOME PAPERWORK", I asked what happened they said that the financial papers were not approved because the proof of income wasn't sufficient.
So I spoke with some other friend who is a dealer, which told me the possible situation, I also read the posts in here and I went to the dealer.
After long wait the Financial Guy called me in, He had new paperwork ready and asked me to sign. I asked why and He came again, that they needed to change to a new bank as the other paperwork were not approved. I asked: "Am I going to pay more?", and I keept for hours trying to have the car and pay what the first signed contract said. The only solution was giving the car back. But they wanted

My husband and I bought a truck back in May, and found out that they did not give us what we wanted for our Van in trade in, and they sure distracted us enough to where we missed it on the sales slip. That's our fault I know because we should have paid more attention when signing. But, our whole experience was a mess. We got this truck that has this clear coat on it to where you don't have to wax it for three years. They said, just bring it in and we'll respray it for you every three years. Now we're finding out it's every six months. We also found out that there are related items out in the market that sell for a lot less, and last up to 5 years. We paid $900 for this and thought it was a great deal. We're finding out the hard way that it wasn't. It was a scam. Everything they said to us was either a lie, or a distraction to where it got our minds off track and manipulated us to where we agreed to this. My husband wants to ask them for this part of our money back. Is it possible?

I have an 06 scion tc that I'm trying to unload because I want a smaller payment. I tried to trade it in for an older car so I could get a smaller payment but I am upside down on the loan for the car and I have bad credit (which is why I'm tryin to make my payments smaller.) Even the dealer told me to just keep the scion and try again in a few years.

Is there really no other options to make my payments smaller?
