Hi, Im looking to purchase a new car, but need some help.
My old cars engine has just blown up and no point in fixing it as it will cost more than the cars actually worth.

Im looking to buy something which is 1.4 or 1.6, £2000-£3000 spending limit, This will be my second car. Im looking for something a bit sporty! but not too sporty, Like a tigra or puma, Must have 4 or 5 seats!something that is relliable, as i have been told that the tigra is more likely to go wrong compared to the puma. I would like something around 1999 upwards.
I dont mind the corsa 2000 edition. I dont like things like a clio. Anyone shed any light on my new car>? thanks

i would go for a vw polo gt or sport model,or maybe the gti speck if you can find one.vw build quality is pretty good they are reliable every day cars.the age of car you are looking for is going to be about 8years old so you have to bear in mind that cars of that age are going to be prone to some problems due to wear and tear a service history and proof that the car has been properley maintained will show in its condition .oh don't forget to check insurance group.good luck

Good luck in your car search, but I recommend that you stay away from car warehouses as they do not give any warranties at all on any cars. You have to buy it at about £300 per year. Also there is no one to take your car back to. regards navi

You may also examine some cars of Honda or Hyundai makes, if available. They are superb cars.
