My Jeeps steering wheel is crooked even when the car is going straight.. can anyone suggest a solution?

own a Jeep grand cherokee 05. I want to get rid of it A. It has 40,000 miles no warrenty b. the price of gas. c. I make long trips every week and I want something smaller. I am looking into buying a Chrysler crossfire the main reason for the trade is because this car is a really really good deal even if I don't like it I can trade it in a year from now and still make out. Does this sound like a decent deal $12,500 for a 2004 Chrysler crossfire loaded with 20,000 miles?

There is a steel plate behind the headlight assembly which makes it virtually impossible to access the twist thingy that holds the halogen headlamp. What am I missing?

I have been watching a lot of air crash investigations, and would like to know what it means when they say that an airline is committed to take off? Why can't they stop the plane before they take off? This happened with Concorde in France where it was on fire before it became airborne, but the pilot had to take off to land?

The car rides great otherwise. The previous owner during the past 10 years used it barely and before that the first owner basically used it just for highway travel down to Florida. Has only a few miles over 100K. The car did set still for about 6 months prior to sell. Heat and A/C works great. Recently had the oil changed and serpentine belt replace.

I am assuming that the brakes and rooters on the car will soon have to be replaced because of some noises heard from the wheels and slight delay while stopping. Trying to wait until the next month before to do it...is that wise? The right-front wheel whistles when turning right what could be the problem?

The car has some visible rust around the back end wheels area and some in the front that I don't think is visible at the moment. Do you think this will take a lot of money to fix....?

Are there any other maintenance I should do to keep the car running and looking semi-good for the next 2 winters?

When I give it gas its fine but when I stop like at a stop sign it sputters. Absolutely NO problems when driving just when idling. Its probably something simple but I dono.

I have a 1998 Honda TRX 250 that is in need of some parts and TLC....Is there any where on the WEB that has parts breakdowns with the part numbers where I can look up my own parts and just takethe numbers and descriptions it to my local Honda dealer and have them order them for me ???? I found several sites that have online microfiche images but no part numbers....any help would be greatly appreciated....Thanx, tooldaddy

i have just bought some 12" subs and boxes but the subs stick out less than half an inch my friend said just sand down the back of the box a little bit so they fit.....my question is can i just put some foam or something around the gap so i dont have to sand it down?

A guy backed into my car and his insurance company says they will not pay for the difference between my current liability insurance and the full-coverage insurance that is required for the rental. I have the police report saying I am not at fault. I am in South Carolina. I am currently driving the rental and paying for the difference out of my pocket but I think that his insurance company is just trying to get out of paying. Am I correct? Is there anything I can do/say to get them to cover it?

i had an accident with a bike today,i was going to turn right when a car from a long queue gave me right of way, i turned but suddenly a bike showed up on the other side of the vehicle and we collided.The biker was slightly injured and his bike was damaged.It was one of those accidents that was hard to avoid as they were no traffic lights and i didnt see him.
What is the maximum penalty i can expect,like insurance claims and fines of penalty points and the sort.

I was in a fender bender recently. i was pulling out of a parking space going less than five miles an hour and my car hit a car passing. it just pulled out of a space further down the lot and was speeding (eye witnesses accounted for information). i wanted to know how fast the car had to be going to knock off my license plate. the screws drove deep cuts (scratches) into my car. maybe 2 to 3 mm deep. does this show they were speeding? by the way my car is a mazda protege (compact car) and theirs was a newer lexus four door sedan.

I am considering buying an '07 Honda Pilot with 16K miles on it. The carfax report says it has never been wrecked. Yesterday it was being offered by the dealer on AutoTrader.com for 30,500. We drove it and noticed a ding in the right front fender. It was large enough to be noticeable, but still just cosmetic damage. Today AutoTrader reflects a reduced price of 29,000. We talked to the dealer and they now want to offer the car "as is" with no warranty other than the manufacturer's. They also said they would fix the dent. What gives? Why would they do this unless they are hiding something? What kind of questions should I ask to get to the bottom of this?

I have a gixxr and I had the 2nd sprocket off today and it looks pretty bad. I want to replace it and I can only assume my primary is just as bad, so I'm doing both. If your sprockets are that bad your chain is probably stretched to hell so I need to do a chain too.

Is there an accelleration kit out there that includes both sprockets and a chain? Where is the best place to get it?
