I'm taking my driver's test on Friday, and I'm nervous about parallel parking. It's not so much that act of parking, but what if I'm about to park on a narrow road, and a car is coming from behind? I know to look back, but what good will it do? I don't think you can skip over that part of the road test, nor pass the car as you would in a real-life scenario. Can anyone help me out here?

So just recently, I was making a left turn and looked both ways and turned and all the sudden I see this car stopped to my right honking. So then I said whatever and kept driving towards my house. I kept looking in my mirror and he is still there so I guess he was following me and he was. I made laps around my neighboorhood. Luckily I speed off and also a car got in between us. What should I do next time? I was about to call the police but I wasn't in a public area. What should I do?

What is the consideration in buying a 2007 model car or 2008 model car? Pros and cons? I know buy the 2007 model would be cheaper and easier to bargain, but is there anything that we need to be aware of?

A lot about jackets, some about boots and gloves but nary a mention about armored pants. Is it that riding pants are'nt fashionable enough? I don't think I've seen many worn. While I'm here, do you get many waves from Goldwing riders? Do they think their in a class by themselves?

I know that I need to get my front brake pads replaced and possibly front rotors resurfaced. I have a 2006 Honda Civic with almost 20,000 miles and need to know, do I also have to get the back brakes (drums) done too? I only hear screeching and a bit of grinding in the front but, is it true that I don't necessarily have to get the back brakes done right now too? I have researched that the rear drums should be replaced every 30 to 50,000 miles while the front discs should be done 15 -20,000 miles. I live in Chicago, snow, and salt. Thanks for your advice in advance.

I think my husband and I are relatively smart people. We did our homework, knew what we wanted, bargained and were happy. We bought a 25k used car from he**. We were told it had been through a 150 pt inspection - lie. And - we put about 3k into the first 6 weeks we had it. We also lacked knowledge in the final paperwork portion of the sale. There was so much extra crap they tried to sell us and we really were unsure of what was necessary and what was not. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I know not all salesman are like the joker we were hooked up with but he has ruined us to trusting again. Thank you in advance.
