Regular unleaded. Aside from the 300Z, Nissan doesn't make a high-performance engine that is recommended for premium unleaded only. You don't want to get into the habit of using a higher grade fuel anyway -- regular unleaded has detergent additives to clean out your fuel injectors, and if you use a higher grade of gasoline the engine will eventually develop a "memory" and the car won't run worth a darn on a lower grade of gasoline.

Put in what the owners manual Say's to put in which is premium not crappy gas. Nissan 3.5 v6 is one of the top ten engines in the world for about 13 years straight on wards list. It's also a high compression engine that needs 91 or higher octane in it. for it to run and last you. Trust me I have 03 Maxima with 150,000 miles and it still runs like day one. trick to these engines is put in the good gas and do your regular maintenance on them. My brother put the cheap gas in my car before and it did not like it the car shook and the service engine light came on lucky for me all I had to do was buy two synthetic fuel injectors for it and put good gas in it. saving those couple of cents on the cheap gas will cost you hundreds in the long run. Well I hope this helps
