How can I program my 02 BMW 325i to get the red LED to flash under the mirror without going to dealer?

Yes, provided they have a BMW MODIC computer to activate the feature. Not many independent garages have that.

The feature can be activated with or without an actual alarm system installed.

Sorry you can't. The alarm will need to be retrofitted to the vehicle so the the car thinks it has an alarm before the LED will work. This can only be done with dealer (or possibly some aftermarket shop's) equipment.

My dads 528i had that subject. It grew to become out to be some wiring maximum suitable to the trunk that became shorting out and necessary to get replaced. that's probable no longer that although, besides the fact that if that's probable an analogous subject with electronics. My E46 hasn't had that subject i'm hoping it would not.

You have to take it to the dealership, only they have the computer to program it. It shouldn't take more than 1/2 hour of time, any longer than that and they are trying to stick it to you.

unless you have some friend that has the lastest technologhy in there garage you can't, it needs to go back to the dealer and get the alarm reset
