1) '88 Chrysler LeBaron GTX Turbo Sedan w/ 96k miles. $1300

Good: Clean car, saw no rust

Bad: Idles ROUGH; stalled in reverse when going very slow, and when at a stop, car is VERY close to stalling. Shifting from 3rd to 4th gear once caused a hesitation. I mentioned I forgot to test the AC to the seller; when he tried to work it, no air would come out of the vents. Only 1 speaker may work.

Worries: Potential tranny problem, idling problem, gas millage, old age, no climate control.

2) '93 Chrysler Le Baron Coupe (Base) w/110k miles. $700

Good: Tranny shifted very smoothly + flawlessly. (PRNDL) Backing up and going forward was very smooth. Car was comfortable and everything functioned well. Body was solid.

Bad: No plates = I couldn't test drive it. Could only back it up and move it forward in a small parking area at low speed. Tranny's of this year known to fail. Minor rust in underbody and paint peeling on trunk lid.

Worries: Tranny failure, rust, paint.

Which one?

this guy I know traded his car in on another car, he payed on it for a while and stopped, they have never repo it yet, will they get a judgement against him. I told him to fall bankrupsey on it and then he could work something out. can they put him in jail where they haven't repo it yet.

Im' getting a body kit for my mazda rx8 and I want to repaint the whole thing so the kit matches the color of the car 100%. But depending on money.. about how much would it cost on average? Min? Max? Thinking light green color, yellow, or possibly just repaint it black

Hello
My truck just started making a grinding noise while braking. I would like to know how to change the front brakes and what parts are needed to complete the job including tools. I would also like to know about how long all this will take because if its too long I will probably take it to the repair shop.Diagrams would be helpfull as well.

i never had problem if the car is not running though.but whenever its on and i had to touch the door/open the door,it makes me feel electrocuted.u know the feeling when u had an electric shock/grounded from touching an electronic appliances and your hand/feet is wet?it happens to me most esp at the door and at the metal part where windshield and the door meet.its been a while now so i feel really stupid abt it,like i open the door now with a gloved hands or push the door open with anything but not my hand.anubody who knows what might be the reason?thank u so much..

hey friends, I plan to travel several hundred miles to look at a 1965 mustang thats for sale. I know (remember) very little about them , this was the first car (simular) that i ever owned in 1966 (darn how time flies). the photos i received look fanastic. red coupe with 289ci 2brl carb auto. it was advertised to be in almost? show condition, and redone about 2 years ago, no rust. i am not a dealer, reseller show person etc. and really don't know exactly what to look for. i plan to keep this car (if bought) and pass it on to one of my children. i can use and would really appreciate any advise you could pass on, SOUNDS like an honest person that i have been talking to (current owner) but who knows. did the 65's come with A/C vents in dash are were they all the hang-on type? how is rack & pinion steering different than the original? how do i check the compression and what should it be? what would be a fair (average) price if its in show or almost show?? condition. Ok, so i just bought this cheap little LED blue light for the inside of my car just for at night to see if it looks good or not.. all it came with is like a 12 inch tube with 2 wires coming out of it, thats it... no instructions or anything, and i dont wanna be "tapping" in my wires underneath the dash or anything and ******* it up cuz i have an x type jaguar, and stuff on that is hard to fix.. so if anyone knows of a simple way to just put those 2 wires into somthing or whatever please let me know, thanks.

Also, is it neccessary to have the thermostat replaced when getting your radiator flushed? I live in the DC Metro Area & would like to know of any good radiator shops in the area.

which fuse do u replace if the inside light on the ceiling is out . i know its out cuz its affecting my car stereo. am guessing it the same fuse.

When driving on the highway/freeway (roads at high speeds)...

do you consider the danger factor to be the same

a) if you were driving 2 feet behind a regular sized vehicle (a sedan, or suv, or minivan, etc)

compared to

b) driving behind a semi-truck or big rig?

I was out at the grocery store and the bank the day before. I realized when I got home however that there was a scratch no dent but scratch as if another car tapped my bumper. It is not seriously damaged at all. How do I find witnesses? Should I even bother taking action? And if so what would happen how would I find the person that did it?
