No game in the world is going to let you feel the clutch as the pressure plate presses the clutch disk against the flywheel and starts to turn the input shaft of the transmission. No game in the world will let you feel the gears as you shift, no game can let you feel the pull of the engine and teach you to know when to shift.
Games are just that, "games", they are grossly inaccurate replicas of movies and stunt driving dumbed down to be so unrealistic, its sad to think there is anyone left who believes that driving how you see people drive in the movies is as easy as a game.

Unfortunately, no game or controller mimics a real car's manual transmission 100% correct, as they are lacking one critical piece: the clutch pedal.
A video game's manual transmission option acts like a Tiptronic transmission, which is an automatic with a driver-controlled Shift Up and Shift Down function.
With this in mind, I'd reccomend Gran Turismo 4.

There aren't any, especially not need for speed type games. Your best bet would be to go try to find an arcade that had a driving game with a clutch, but even that won't get it done. Best way to learn a manual tranny is by jumping in one and driving. Games can't reproduce a transmission, or how it handles.

You can play whatever driving game you want with whatever joystick you want. It wont help you a bit in learning to drive a manual transmission. Shifting is the easy part. Working the clutch is where its tricky when learning.
