Ok, so i just bought this cheap little LED blue light for the inside of my car just for at night to see if it looks good or not.. all it came with is like a 12 inch tube with 2 wires coming out of it, thats it... no instructions or anything, and i dont wanna be "tapping" in my wires underneath the dash or anything and ******* it up cuz i have an x type jaguar, and stuff on that is hard to fix.. so if anyone knows of a simple way to just put those 2 wires into somthing or whatever please let me know, thanks.

Yeah, go to your local parts store, buy a cigarette lighter plug in with open wires and connect your 2 wires to those to wires, plug it in, if it don't work, switch the wires.

If you just want to see if it looks good you could put a plug on it like a radar detector and plug it in to the lighter plug. LED's are polarity sensitive so if it doesn't work reverse the wires. If you want a more permanent solution there should be a few open connections in the fuse panel under the dash. Do NOT hook it up directly to the battery. If it should short out for some reason there will be no fuse to protect it and you could burn the whole car up. Always use a fuse!!

Go straight to the battery terminals. One wire for each. That way you will know which one is hot and which one is ground...Good luck.
