If you change the color it will decrease the value of the car but increas th cost of the paint job as they have to repaint the trunk, engine compartment, door openings, etc. Same color figure $4,000 and up.

Black is cheapest, red is most, yellow is on the tail of red in cost.
If the car is already black, black aftermarket parts painted will match. There is no need to repaint the car, as a repaint will NEVER be as strong, good as a factory robot paint job.
Cost... depends on body shop, painter, paint brand, clearcoat brand, etc. Can range from $1500 to $50,000. Plus depends on what damage is on car, any rust, how much sanding, primer, filler, removal of items, how much time to install, etc. As this is all labor and costs. Again, depends on the shop.
To go cheap, you will get cheap. Paint on trim, trim not back on right, dirt in paint, paint pealing in a few years, etc. Go best, and you have a show car that you shouldn't drive. So its finding that happy median that you can afford.
If it was my car, and since the RX8 is new. I would find a high line auto detailer and have the car put through a clay bar job, then a 5 stage buff out by levels of foam pads and product. Restoring the exterior to past mint.
Then have the parts painted, extra flex additive added to the paint and clearcoat to prevent cracking and hair line cracks. Then have them painted, dried for at least 3 days and then installed on the car by a careful professional that has done that kit before.
Once done, you'll never realize parts were not factory.

RE:
About how much is a completely new car paint job?
Im' getting a body kit for my mazda rx8 and I want to repaint the whole thing so the kit matches the color of the car 100%. But depending on money.. about how much would it cost on average? Min? Max? Thinking light green color, yellow, or possibly just repaint it black

starting price for a real good paint job is around 1200 bucks, the price for the paint alone would be around 400 for paint and supplies,it has just about doubled in the past two years or so,but for about 1200 you can get a pretty good job done on it,if they have to do any body work though the price jumps up really fast,it can hit 2 grand in no time, but the old saying is very true, you get what you pay for,and this falls very true with paint jobs more than anything else, good luck on it.

If you're changing the color, expect to pay around $750 - $ 2,000 for a quality paint job. If you're only repainting it black, you'll pay about $ 500 - $ 1,000, again for a quality paint job. I'd stay away from Maaco or any of the other "El Cheapo" paint jobs as you'll only end up with orange peel, flaking paint, spotty coverage and paint where you don't want it. Good luck!
